About the Artists

Matthew Ryan and Neilson Hubbard head up the Nashville-based Strays Don’t Sleep (http://www.straysdontsleep.com), whose music blends “Sinatra, Roxy Music and Curtis Mayfield” with an overtone of urban folk. Their self-titled album, set for June release in the US, is a “sublime love letter to loneliness, hope and hopelessness (with) moods so sharp they're epic. Words so personal they're universal.”

Joseph Raso (Writer/Director, Groomed) won four awards at the Columbia University Film Festival for his film Together Alone. His feature screenplay Orgy received the Best Comedy Screenplay Award from Script Magazine, while his dramatic screenplay Fermat’s Last Theorem was the recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan grant.
